HEALTHCARE NAVIGATION  &  PATIENT ADVOCACY

Be confident in your care.

A new diagnosis or chronic illness is hard enough. Getting the right care shouldn't be a second battle. Informed Care helps you understand your options, prepare for your appointments, and navigate a complex system .

Healthcare is complicated by design. Navigating it alone shouldn't be your job.

Medicine has advanced at an extraordinary pace, and that's a good thing. But it has also made the system harder to navigate. Treatments are specialized, institutions are siloed, and the evidence base shifts constantly.

When you or someone you love receives a serious diagnosis, you suddenly need to become an expert in a field that takes doctors years to master. You're expected to make consequential decisions while managing fear, fatigue, and an avalanche of information.

There is a difference between treating the disease and caring for the patient. Informed Care bridges that gap by ensuring the care you receive reflects your values, your priorities, and the best available evidence.

WHY IT MATTERS

The data is clear: patients who are informed and supported get better care.

The gap between having expert support and navigating alone can mean a delayed diagnosis, a missed treatment option, or a lack of clarity on your medication instructions.

~50%

of patients could not correctly recall their diagnosis, treatment plan, and medication changes 1-2 days following a hospital stay

3.6x

higher risk of operative death for coronary-artery bypass surgery with a  "low-volume" surgeon vs. a "high-volume" surgeon

67%

of studies found patients with a navigator had significantly better care outcomes

I founded Informed Care because I've seen from both sides how much the quality of patient advocacy matters. My background in biomedical engineering gives me the tools to understand your condition and treatment options. My decade in healthcare administration taught me how systems work, where they break down, and what it takes to get patients the access and quality of care they deserve.

Over the years, I have served as advocate for family members and close friends navigating diagnoses ranging from rare cancers to complex surgical conditions. In each case, I applied the same approach: deep research into the condition, coordination with leading specialists, careful attention to insurance and logistics, and a consistent focus on what mattered most to the patient.

I started Informed Care because where and who you get care from matters. We are here to help you get it right.

You shouldn't have to navigate this alone.
